Champagne your nails should be thick AND thin. The reason being is because when you build it it needs to be thinner at the bottom of the nail near your cuticle arching up in the middle and towards the top of the Acrylic it gets a little bit thinner. It seems to me a very thin later of acrylic would be much stronger than shellac and much more natural than typical thick acrylic.
